Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist Project Leads to analyse requirements, create test cases, and execute tests with tools and techniques for functional testing, integration testing, system testing, regression testing and compatibility testing
- Identify problems of web features, log defects, and communicate the findings to QA Leads, developers and project team. Analyse test cases thoroughly to ensure adequate coverage of requirements.
- Develop an understanding of the functional, usability and performance requirements for the product features being tested. Report bugs, verify fixes, and report test results.
- Work with development team to reproduce and resolve bugs.
- Escalating issues when necessary.
- Improving the quality process.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures
- Good communication
- Exposure in any one of Bug tracking tool
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Aware of Selenium concepts like different types of Waits, Complex X Paths, Selenium Grid etc.
- Expertise in at least one programming language - Java/C#
- Expertise in any framework like TestNG, Nunit, etc…
- Basics of Jmeter
- Exposure in any one of Bug tracking tool [Jira, Bugzilla)
