This meant that they had to adhere to the labeling regulations of different countries.

Besides that, CavinKare is a large-scale enterprise, as evident from its 7,242 projects initiated across various regions and product categories. They were facing the following issues:

1. Delays due to workflow bottlenecks: CavinKare faced 100% workflow delays due to several inefficiencies. The process was so slow that they could not meet the timelines, and it took almost 79 days to complete a workflow. These repeated delays beyond the stipulated timeline impacted the overall project completion. 

2. Quality issues: To add to their woes, the first-time-right rate (FTR) was only 20%. In other words, only 20% of the projects were approved and completed correctly on the first attempt. Each project took an average of 2.8 iterations. This indicated that there were issues with the accuracy of the projects, and getting initial approvals was hard. 

These issues had a severe financial impact on CavinKare, as 40% of the projects were terminated due to wasted resources and missed market opportunities.
